Liam’s love for backcountry skiing and climbing was sparked growing up in the Bear River Range. He joined RMI Expeditions, one of the top guiding outfitters in the US, when he was 20. There he was mentored by some of the best mountain guides in the world, including Dave Hahn, Casey Grom, and Mike Haugen among many others. Liam founded Bear River Mountain Guides in order to continue his passion for mountain guiding while staying closer to his family.
