Northern Utah has some genuinely great fly fishing. Our guided fly fishing trips run on the Logan River, Blacksmith Fork, and Left Hand Fork, three cold, clear canyon rivers right here in Cache Valley that we get to call our home water. We know where the fish hold, what they're eating, and when to be on the water.

Whether you've never picked up a fly rod or you've been fishing for years, we'll build the day around you. First-timers get the full foundation — casting, reading water, fly selection, knot tying, and how to handle a fish well. More experienced anglers get to skip the basics and focus on new water, new techniques, or just a really good day out. We offer both half-day and full-day trips, and we're flexible on all of it. We love what we do, and we genuinely want you to leave a better angler than you showed up.

Bear River Mountain Guides operates under a USFS Special Use Permit on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. All guided trips are catch-and-release only. We keep a close eye on water temps and conditions throughout the season — if something changes, we'll reach out and find you the best option available that day.
